Does it feel like another “Groundhog Day” for you? Are you bored with your life, feel stuck, or maybe you are experiencing a midlife crisis? Getting stuck is normal, but staying confined to it can be devastating.

New evidence suggests middle-aged men feel increasingly trapped by society's expectations, but there are positive steps you can take - no new red sports cars required. The first step for breaking out of your slump is to recognize that you are in one and what it is REALLY about? Many times we think we know what the problem is, but we are off track and sometimes lost because we are viewing our world through a distorted lens.

In what areas of your life do you feel the “blahs?” Maybe it’s your; CAREER: your job doesn’t inspire you anymore, and you wonder if there is something better out there, RELATIONSHIP: you are feeling numb in your marriage and wish you could feel deeply in love again, or HOME: you are tired of where you live and long for somewhere with a different energy to it.

Identify the obstacles that are holding you back from achieving your goals and ask yourself what REAL HAPPINESS would really look like for you. It can be helpful to explore the essence of your unhappiness, obstacles, and goals with your partner, friend, counselor, or life coach.
