Don't Touch Me - I am your Wife! In my Men's Coaching practice, approximately 90% of men tell me that physical touch is their primary love language in Dr. Chapman's book - "The 5 Love Languages." There is lot more to physical touch than just sex as discussed in the Love Languages. What’s more, sex alone is not going to fill up a man’s physical touch needs or “love tank” (as Dr. Chapman calls it). A physical touch guy needs to be shown love in nonsexual ways, too. Many relationship problems and divorces are related to lack of communication and lack of physical touch in the relationship, yet most men are too afraid to communicate to our wives their feelings.
